Role: Concept, Director, Editor
The Challenge
Rock the Vote needed a campaign that could cut through noise on social, reach young voters where they already were, and make the case for participation without preaching. The ask was simple: make voting feel urgent, relevant, and culturally connected.
Approach
Directed and edited a concept featuring Kendall Jenner telling the story of youth voter rights through fashion. Three looks represented three pivotal moments: a boho-chic dress for the 26th Amendment in 1971, ripped jeans and a baggy tee for rising millennial turnout in 1992, and a fitted pantsuit for the unprecedented 20 million young voters in 2008 and 2012. The narrative was visual, fast, and built to stop the scroll.
The Result
The video became one of Rock the Vote's most visible campaigns that cycle, covered by Teen Vogue, The Hollywood Reporter, Politico, Marie Claire, USA Today, and HuffPost. It translated voter history into cultural language and positioned participation as the next chapter in a story young people were already part of.
